We got self made halloween 2013 crates for TF2 a few days ago. But you can't open them. I think it was because the self made keys for halloween became regular self made keys after the holidays. This way people can see what crate your item was in.
@Agito, nice concept, if you need someone to model it let me know
For the color I would go for the blue one, fits sven a lot better, at least I think it's for Sven
I got some duplicates as well, even my bloodstone blades. I hoped they finially would add them to a chest or something :S

I really like the one that sticks to the color scheme of Sven. I think the full gold feels a bit unfitting for him, it might pop way to much. I think if you were to play off the idea of it changing when you equip a black king bar, think about adding a particle element emmiting from the eyes, similar to the Vanguard for Axe, something subtle. It could be a really cool idea.
finally completed my Invoker set and it's now up in the workshop.
It comes in two styles and custom forge spirits.
I hope you like it and if so please vote for it link on the image.
Cheers
Wow, amazing work everyone, I cant say a single bad thing about these sets... just awesome.
Here is a WIP screenshots of a courier with quick textures, I am rigging it at the moment Any feedback and criticism are more than welcome
The front is waaaaay too simple Gumbata. It's not gonna animate well at all and not having the volume there will be very obvious. Also, in the concept the cloak goes over the front while in the model it does not. The way the arms attach to the body wont work like that at all, you really have to model the stuff that is in shadow as well. The 2D artists get to cheat there, we do not get to cheat.

Yeah @Spudnik i see what you mean. How would you go with it? What will change if I model the body under the cloak? It will still be black so whats the point. I am sure there is something im missing ;d
Perhaps I will model the black plane a bit different, sort of inwards first and then going out, so its not that straight. Another idea was that the black plane should become transparent at the bottom, so it transitions better to the ground as a real shadow.
Dmitry_DMT Way too neat for DP imo. Tear that dress?
I'm not too sure about the scarf color.
Scarf area looks a bit busy in game.

Looks good. Looking forward for mount.

I would prefer to see the eyes!
CataFa Wonder how would it look if you remove that piece hiding his neck in the front. At some angles it feels as if his head is not attached to his body.
Finally finished my Omniknight set! Armor of the Stalwart Soul.
There was a strange issue with my submissions being visible in the workshop before everything had been finalized, though. Maybe it's a bug, maybe it's a new feature, I don't know. Just a heads up, I guess.
Alpha transparency also renders with white outlines in the new model viewer. Not really something to complain about given how well everything else renders in there, and I don't think alpha transparency is used a lot in general.

Omniknight was in need of a set like this, good job!
About the alpha, I'm having this exact same problem with Slark, but it doesn't happen in-game though.
I'm also having the alpha issue. Does anyone know if it'll have the same issue in the loadout when submitted? Anyway, I fixed the issue that I was having with not being able to compile my model to a .mdl a while back. Apparently, I just had to rename all of the .smds, becuase they had "ACT_" in front of them. Apparently, that made the compiler think that they were actions, not .smds, and therefore had to have a number after them, not "loop" or "fps". Thanks to everyone who helped on that, it was much appreciated. Now I have another problem x). The model in question was a spirit bear for lone druid. I want to test it in dota 2, so that I can test my custom detail map. I can't just upload another item in the set and then upload the bear as an "additional item" because there's a bug with that that doesn't let the bear work when tested. How can I just upload the .mdl I compiled with studiomdl? I also tried to substitute the default files for my files in Dota 2 test, as described in this tut by vlad http://www.workshophatemachine.com/2013/01/14/previewing-cosmetics/ but test was really glitchy and nothing worked. I don't think I'll make another set after this, the amount of time I've spent learning this stuff will outweigh the amount of money the set will make, in the highly unlikely event that it gets accepted in the first place. As always, any help is much appreciated.

Sven
This is a sentence that contradicts itself. If you cannot tell at a glance what hero it's for, how can the design be great?
it could really fit kunkka or wraithking imo, i just didnt notice the handle at first glance

Guys, please, point out my mistakes.
that looks great!!! eventhough the community has some mixed feelings towards covering the hero's eyes i think this one really fits!

Lina's hair awesome, added to my favorites.
Just use the alphas to simulate tears (color, channel A)
