Description:
The Engineering & Analysis Operation (EAO) of SAIC in Huntsville, AL has an immediate opening for a 3D Modeler.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Successful candidate will support augmented reality-based software development on mobile computing platforms with focus on iOS and Android OS. Should have a thorough understanding 3DS MAX and/or MAYA modeling environments, and UNITY 3D engine. Candidates must have a demonstrated history of working well on collaborative software development projects using both CMMI processes and rapid software prototyping. Key areas of expertise include: 3D model development, requirements analysis, and solid communications skills. Animation experience a plus.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
BS and at least 5-7 years experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Previous experience using 3DS MAX and/or MAYA and UNITY 3D engine. Ability to obtain a security clearance required.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE: 3DS MAX and/or MAYA model development experience; UNITY 3D engine experience.
DESIRED SKILLS: Prior experience working in a CMMI environment preferred. Experience leading a collaborative team preferred.
