I'm mostly a lurker here, but from now on i'm going to post my 2D stuff in a sketchbook here. My portfolio website is over here .

Im a business student, but digital art has been my hobby for a while now. This sketchbook aims to improve my 2D skill, which never got past the level of painting crappy textures. Critique is warmly welcomed.

Today's sketches:

Good to see you posting! You need to work on your proportions and anatomy. Check out some books from Loomis. You can probably find some online somewhere. He also goes into general drawing skills and perspective techniques as well. So they're overall really good books to learn from for 2D things.
As you start to get a hang of that you should try drawing faster and with less lines. The gesture of these figures are awfully stiff and just speeding up your drawing time could add more life and weight to them.

Thanks for the crits Shmaba, You'r right about the amount of lines used.. I really should useless, but im not really confident drawing figures yet so its too much trial and error.

I think i'll do some anatomy studies to focus on some body parts that are currently painted crappiest. Also, todays stuff (Trying to make this daily).

Today i tried some hands... missed yesterday. Anyone got goog tips n tricks for those.
