I still want to see the girl in more of a sci-fi getup. Keep the shaved head, add some surface-level wetware or something on there, toss her in a stark and spartan jumpsuit.
The other two I'd love to see finished are Harkonnen and the Alien, so maybe I'm just feeling sci-fi today.

created 3D Woman Update!!

Thanks to EVERYBODY for all the comments and critiques folks. Every time you post to my thread, a tiny demon gets his wings.
OneLung: Thanks so much for the paintover man! I'm going to take same of that into account for this new concept for sure.
Nizza: Because I'm lazy/busy/fickle. Pick one.
EarthQuake: Thanks Joe! That means a lot. I've been practicing a little.
NaruSol: Your wish is my command...
So, I've taken the concept in a different direction. Let me know how you folks like it and if you can guess what character it is.

Oi scoob, like i said, I dig the design. I do think the IV tube could be a bit more interesting/elegant. Well, since you want to keep it all in a thread, here's the image I whipped up.

My guess is Chani? Looks great already and I love the suit design. Though I think you could add more stuff on her and use different colors on those. Check this concept out; http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs70/f/20...em-d3737h3.jpg

Ug, sleepy. Getting back to this and roughing some hair, new colors and suit lines into the sculpt...keeping this thread alive.
Yay BPR.

Looking great, I'm not anatomy expert but the ribs seem slightly thin at the top that's the only thing that looks off to me at the moment

Ok. So! I've picked this Dune thing back up and done some more bullshit doodling.
I took this sculpt, which some of you may recall, and knocked the sculpted hair off (it was all 1 dynamesh lump), and retopo'd her.
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/44379/dynamesh_lady_003.jpg
I did a little further sculpting, keeping in mind my inspirations (The Stars of the 2 Ridley Scott Alien movies, Sigourney Weaver, and Noomi Rapace).

Lady Jessica / Reverend Mother Jessica
Also, this sketch of The Duke, Leto Atreides.
*edit: Forgot the Duke!

Cool. Love Dune. Liking the Lady Jessica look. Love her eyes. I think her clothing could be very cool and an interesting challenge.

Looks cool man. I dig it.
I'm curious how you're knocking out those skin textures so fast. What's that skin texture? Some 3dsk image?

Oh cool. Can I see just the flat polypaint? I'm really curious about how that's done. *cough*record-a-video-of-you-painting-it*cough*
