Thanks a lot! I made some value mistakes and whatnot, but I only give myself limited time! Hopefully my next one turns out better.

I did a quick 2.5 hour painting. I don't usually go without any prep.. but I decided to just go for it.

Some character concepts that wound up getting scrapped in favor of a new direction.

A quick 1 hour study of an ant. I am going to be doing an Ant-man piece for the Avengers theme for my works art blog.

Looks great! The only thing that bugs me is you have all these lovely distinguishing features, but they are only used once or twice in a confined area of the monster. It doesn't feel like one monster, but parts of many monsters, but if you were going for that mish-mosh look then I guess I could still bring myself to sleep at night.

Thanks guys! I guess I was sort of going for a chimera type of creature, but I probably should have reused some elements in different parts. I was hoping that by sharing and dropping the colors over that it would sort of unify it.

Decided to take a crack at making a bunch of random silhouettes and turning them into quick characters. And here is the results!

Figured I'd post this quick, random painting I did in an hour. I had no direction. When in doubt, add giant spikes, I guess!

Really wonderful stuff. The last one reminds me of John Bauer's Troll work. Very cool, keep it up!

Your stuff's really exciting! You got a ton of really expressive characters and like kyle said you nailed the atmosphere in that last piece.

Thanks a lot! I am going to repost the above once it's completely finished. I tweaked it a lot and it's looking a lot stronger now. After that, I may finally get around to texturing a treasure chest I modeled a while back.

Waiting around for a new challenge has inspired me to tackle some enemies from my favorite video game series. This time, it's the classic FLAN and Bomb, enemies.
