So I just recently got Crysis Wars for my PC, and I'm a little nervous about joining random servers because my friend mentioned that some servers can install hacks and viruses on your computer. How accurate is he, and does anyone know of the best and most reliable servers on CW? I'm interested in playing Power Stuggle, but it seems like there's so few available servers. That sort of limits my choices and I'd rather not be forced to pick a server that gives my computer a virus.
Thanks

Rather than worrying about pinpointing specific servers that are 'safe', why not just install reliable antivirus software?

I have AVG, but I'd still prefer to play it safe

Thought this was the most unfathomable necrosis bump ever, but apparently it's a whole new thread!

Maybe follow the advice I gave you last year Chicken. Surely people on the Crytek boards would be far more qualified to answer your question.

Hey, I was asking about Wars. Leilei said to try it, so I did. And I was wondering if Wars has this issue, since I just started and it looked pretty much the same. Most of the servers are either devoid of life or have a low player count. I'd hate to be restricted to the one full-ish server and have it be infected with some crap. I don't have any money to get a new computer or get this one fixed.

You could just try play on all of them and see which ones give you viruses, then just don't play on those servers again!
There is always more to learn.
