Really nice bake. And I like the look of the colour test. Keep going with that.
Something about the lack of hands and the cheesy grin work really well for me. I reckon leave it as is. Haha.

couldn't help myself, this thing is so flippin tight... just begged for color scheme play. I'm sure whatever you do will be brilliant but here's my two pesos. great work duncan.

hahahaha AWESOME. Thanks Ferg , YOU ARE READING MY MIND! your paint over looks like what I had going at 1.30 this morning..... then half asleep I decided to desaturate him. I am really tossing up between the over / under saturated look, I think both could work but perhaps over the top works better for him....maybe. I really dig what you did with his jox..... I may have to steal that one.
BIG BIG thanks for the "two pesos" I will try to spend them wisely.
Thanks for the feedback everyone I will have to play.

OK so I have ended up going down the more saturated path. Just experimenting as I go so things are taking longer than expected
Still working on colour blocking. Then I can get into some detail stuffs.
Started playing around with an idea for lighting, and it looks like I might have to do a small environment for him as well.
thanks again everyone.

if you mix maybe 1/2 that green lighting into the top pic you'll have a killer banner image.

so fucking rad, killer batman

The yellow trim works great! However, I feel like the pouches might work better being all yellow. Maybe keep the bright yellow trim, and color the pouches a deeper warmer yellow.

Also, I still love that he's got no arms (and the ribs keeping the cape up )

@ LoTekK: Yeah I think you are right. I had it yellow/brown originally but decided to try something different.... I think I was wrong.... thanks for pointing that out I will fix it for the next update.
Thanks again for the feedback hahaha and yeah arms are for loosers....... I mean anyone who is not Batman.
@ moose: Thanks

Did my usual thing and added blood. Almost done with him I think. Now to get started on a little scene for him. Probably a small dark bloody corner.

Maybe you went a bit overboard with the blood there, model looks sweet but right now it looks like he took a blood bath before posing for he's pretty picture
Just my 3 cents ;)

You did a great job with the blood, but I'd really like to see it focused more just on his mouth/face, possibly other places on his front. The lack of arms has me imagining this guy pretty much flying through the air biting/chewing/eating the crap out of people. Right now it does look like he rolled around in it with there being blood ALL over the place.
My nitpicking aside, this is awesome.

I liked the more cheerful, cartoonish version better, myself, but that's a personal preference thing. Some nice work here, regardless.

Thanks everyone.
@ spacemonkey: Thanks mr.
@ Two Listen: hahaha thanks. Yeah...It is like aliens. This guy bursts through chests and generally chews his way around town.... messy messy business. You are right, It might be a bit too much, but being a bit of a fan of B grade horror movies, I like it dirty
I think I am finally gonna call this guy done...I think
Thanks again everyone for the kind words and feedback.

Lol! The blood just makes him that much more terrifying! I think if I were a criminal, would rather encounter the buff batman in a dark alley over this guy. He's got the look to him like he'd bite my nose off.
