Hmm, so I am a little late to this contest, but thought i would give it a go with a Maker Axe:

Lots of stone/metal contrast in there; and still playing with some of the shapes...

    Looks very cobbled together and Maker-ish, good job!

    I would watch how many semi-circles you use as they'll probably eat up a lot of tris in the low-poly as I have seen in other entries. Also, maybe have two pieces of metal holding the blade instead of four, could help the tri count too.
