So I've looked everywhere for something or some info on how to capture an animation of a selected viewport at a certain resolution, as a sequence of PNGs with alpha maps and without those viewport words(+, Perspective, smooth+highlights, ect) at the top left.

Horribly fucking specific, but I'm desperate here haha

If anyone knows a way to do this, please let me know!

You can render a preview, and set it to whatever resolution you want (pretty much).

For the alpha, you could simply change your shaders' diffuses to white, and re-render a new preview. Then batch-combine the two videos into a single set of PNGs.

I'm worried that the text will still be visible though, is there any way to hide it?

EDIT:
I can't seem to find a way to remove that text in the upper right corner.. ugh

So I finally ended up just using grabviewport with the safe box opened with it set to 800x600 and manually cropped out the excess... worked out cause it kept the words away from the safe box, but still not as smooth as I'd like :P
