Hello all! I was wondering if anyone here has any techniques on how to start out modeling baroque objects. Mainly picture frames and mirrors. Examples such as these.

Please, any help will be greatly appreciated Thanks!

Hi. there is another way to model that shapes insinde 3dsmax.In the graphite modeling tools, you can select where you want to "draw" (to the grid or to surface). First you need a reference object ,which you will draw on. Then at the graphite modeling tools tab click poly draw->new object.Once when the new object is created, modify the drawing target from "on:grid" to "on:surface", then click "pick", and select your reference object.now you are able to place verticles, polygons, and so on. After you placed all the faces what you wanted, you need to corrigate the verticles position to detail and refine your shapes. Its a little bit sticky technique, but if you are not enough good at zb sculpting, it works fine. Good luck
