So while browsing the Game Developer Magazine saw an ad for Unity for 99$.
(http://www.studica.com/unity/unity-pro-3-student.html). Anyone taken advantage of this? I see that its a one year license but graduating soon but Unity 3.5 for 99$ sounds like an awesome deal.

What is the difference between that, the free version, and the Pro version?

The student version is essentially Unity Pro but with a watermark and the stipulation that you can't use it for commercial products.

Pretty good deal, really.

Studica also do a Student Commercial license, which is straight up no limitations, no watermarked Unity Pro at a cut price.

You can only install it on one system, though (regular Unity Pro license gets you two installs).

Thanks Talon! Yeah actually googling if 3.5 came with the watermark one led me to a post of yours on the Unity forums. Though 800$ is quite a lot so will mess about with the watermarked one.
