Hey guys,

I'm having problems with exporting my custom normals from 3ds Max into CE3.
It appears that the exporter completely ignores my custom normals and instead displays my raw Smoothing Groups. I tried leaving the Edit Normals modifier on, setting my custom normals to explicit, but nothing seems to work.

Does CE3 even support custom normals? I recall hearing that it does, but documentation doesn't mention this at all.

Thanks!

If you make enough noise 'bout it it might come to the Free SDK sometime. We have them working inhouse.

Thanks a lot guys. Sad to hear that it only works with inhouse builds, but that explains the conflicting reports I heard about it.

What about Crymod 2?

Also, do they ever plan to update any of the SDKs?
