Yeah the bricks are too large, just thinking about dragging a wagon and horses over that makes me feel sorry for them ^^ I really like the clothes hanging from the lines and stuff, nice touch.
I still think you should add street lamps or torches though ;) People need to see at night =P

Looks good dude, just needs more props all arround, the streets look kinda empty. I also miss some green, like plants or trees. I also like those carnival hanging ropes to the upper left, could use more of them :P Always nice to see what your cooking up Wiktor

Wow I never thought of that. Also, I miss the golden days of Tibia

i just wanted to chime in here and tell you that the way you lay-outed your textures into that atlas map and how you reuse em and how that re-usability increases batch-ability .... THAT IS exactly how every environment should be build
everyone take not THIS IS HOW ITS DONE !
*Standing ovation*

Looks amazing. Can I ask how you went about the buildings? Did you just import the building in as one model and assign different materials to each section?

Thanks guys!
@Hayden Zammit: I just imported each building as a separate model and assigned the material. The material had all the different textures on one sheet, so no need to use multiple materials. You can see a WIP texture sheet on the previous page in this thread.

Dude that looks fantastic! Everything about this environment is awesome:
- The textures read really well
- The composition is fantastic
- Love the sense of depth
- The lighting is very interesting
- Great use of modularity
Great job!

Loving this still man. Aside from the low res lightmap on the rightmost building it's looking great everywhere.

Fantastic work! my only note is the stair rails look a little squished on the down angle in the screen. May just be the field of view though.

Thanks for the kind words guys! I really appreciate it!
@jeffro: You mean on the alley shot? Then yeah, I had some problems with lightmaps not displaying at full resolution sometimes. I will look into that. Thanks!
@Serith: You might be right, I'll check it out!

Looks fantastic. Just needs some trees, a little muck and maybe an open drain running down the middle of the street
