So many great artists here! For some time I've been lurking around. Though mainly I am 2d artist, I tend to practice 3d from time to time, especially when I had model on the job.
So I'll start to post some of my 3d stuff, for the sake of hints, tips and comments.
This is the sculpt, I'm doing basing on another artist's concept, preparing for 3d print, still wip.

Nothing too exciting, learning some destruction techniques in Max. Eventually want to do something similar in an engine.

Here's what I was working on, but I'm going to shelve this model, at least until I know what to do with it. I wanted to make an Asian person for a change, I wanted to make someone with a vest, and I wanted to make a very skinny and tall stylised woman... But I don't think the three really work together all that well in one model. It hovers uncomfortably between realistic and stylised without the guts to go for either.

@LRoy : I really am in love with your character hahaha. How did you do the fur? Same way as in Shadow Of Colossus? I'm curious about it's shading.
Here's a little piece of environment on which i've been working on today. It's part of my graduation short. Still a work in progress, i will probably post more as i progress. C&C are welcome, this still need alot of work !
Short is in the victorian years, early 1900. This is the main door of a mansion. I need to work more on the frame, maybe put some windows over the door, i'm still looking at suggestions.

so i got a comment on the size of the legs. i had originally wanted a somewhat stylized character with some realistic detail. made three variations. first one is the original. which one would work better?

I was tempted to say "yup, Woody" to protect my ego. But where's the fun in that. Not Woody this time.
Hopefully with more work and a hack jobbed Photoshop wig he will be recognizable. Still a ways to go though..

Elementrix, that looks really good. That's actually a really interesting idea to paint on an inverted cube.
