We are a team of 2 young high school students, who decided to do 3D game in Unity for our last school project. This project is for school only and is not intended to be published, its sole purpose is for us to learn a bit more about developing 3D games. The theme is medieval, because there is a lot of games with this theme, which means there are lots of different assets.
We aren't exactly looking for people, who would cooperate at this project, we would rather you ask for any assets you're willing to share. We would be really thankful for this, because don't have any serious 3D modelling or art skills yet, but we're trying to learn as fast as possible. So any additional assets will really help us because we can't afford an artist as our budget is very limited. We aren't picky in any way, anything will help, from common props to characters, sounds/music, anything.
Or link to any website which can provide something we're looking for will do fine too.

Take a look at turbosquid.com for free 3d models. Search for what you want and set the price range from 0-1 dollar and you'll find lots of good stuff. You'll need a 3d package of course to use them, but I'm assuming you have that. As far as sound goes I believe sounddogs.com has free sounds and you could also look up free sound project. Since this is a highschool project and not for commercial use, you could really use anything as long as your teachers are okay with it. I don't think you're going to find many people here who will take the time to give you things they've worked hard on themself, just from experience. Oh an also for free 3d characters look up thefree3dmodels. There you go, that should get you started!

Best of luck.

You can also check the Unity Asset Store (from within the editor, no less). there are quite a number of free and affordable asset packs on offer, a lot of which are pretty decent-looking, to boot.

If you haven't any graphist, why don't you try to make an abstract looking game, like Darwinia, System Protocol One, Everyday Shooter, etc.

I think you will be evaluated on the gameplay, not the graphics.

Here's the rule for bargains "Do other men, for they would do you." That's the true precept.
