Hey guys,
I had an idea for a lean/athletic chess dude who likes to crawl into fetal position while playing. I want to make him seem smart and agile, even though he has a hump on his back. Here is the initial block in.
I might make him look a little like a knight.

I'm not really sure tthe beard fits with the whole "lean/athletic" look you originAlly started with, at least not conceptually. Mesh is looking super nice though.

Better without beard. He seems kind of medieval, so I'd say a beltand maybe have his tunic sticking out under it to give his body a bit of shape.
Mutants in Tights?
Great at starting projects...

Thanks . I don't want him to be medieval, i want him to be super high-tech smart, so here's a little try out with some machine influences on him.

must have missed this one , i really like the idea and the blockout so far
the description made me think of an armadillo for some reason, probably because of the fetal pose

It was the best of times!
Here's a little video I made capturing the prime moments of the holiday. I will get back to working on this character after finishing the course I'm currently enrolled in (Genetherapy, Cancer and AIDS, a hard ass molecular biology course ).
