Vertex color plugin for Maya 2012 ?

Hey guys,

I Have been working on a lowpoly scene and need to use vertex colors. I found out yesterday to my surprice that VertexChameleon does not work for Maya 2012. Does anyone have a suggestion what to do ? , I cant stand mayas built in Vertex paint tool. Its buggy and take for ages to work with. Maya in a nutshell if you aske me.

I was going to suggest VertexChameleon. Have you e-mailed the guy and asked him to recompile for Maya 2012.
