Paining out seams

Hello, I tried to paint out the seam in my boulder in photoshop using clone stamp but it did not work very well.

I was wondering if anyone has a good technique for paining out seams.

If you are working in max, you can just use the viewport canvas tool. Just load you diffuse texture and start painting out the seams.

You are seriously naughty for such a large animated gif.

You can also make an alternate UV set created just to fix the seams. Bake the diffuse out, do fixes, then bake it back out to the original layout, and blend it into the original.

use the texture as stencil in mudbox would be a fast way...
or the new clone brush...

I would say Mudbox or the 3D Function in Photoshop (cs4+)
