Hey guys starting a new project, trying to learn HP to LP modeling as well as modular construction based on a grid. I create a HP floor here, i cannot help but think its missing something. The scene will be a Space station corridor. Im not going for a destroyed look, more of a lived in look so i wanted the floor panel to be walked on which is why i used big panels.

Im working off a handful of references, i think i plan to have windows on the right side exposing space.

Are your extrusions a straight 90 degree angle? Because from these angles it looks like that. And if that's the case..your normal map bake won't probably be able to do much with is and come out flat

If it looks fine in the bake then it's chill.

High polys look good. I understand how you feel thinking something is missing, but once you get a texture on there it will all start to come together. Keep it up!
