Hi there lads I'm a games design student and would like to improve my modeling and even more my texturing since I haven't put much work in it lately

So I am quite looking forward to any criticism or suggestions in regards to my models and textures you guys have.

in this case the texture is not mine and i just manipulated the brightness and contrast a bit in photoshop

Here is a bit of a random idea a ballista that has small charges attached to it with ropes. before a launch the rope is ignited so it slowly burns through. once the rope fails the bombs fall and cause a sort of carpet bombing

so as oranghe noted i should update my sketchbook a bit more so first of a simple barrel with a handpainted texture

then from a current university brief 3 props for an existing IP i chose world of warcraft and made an axe, a polearm and a shield so first of some renders followed by wireframe screenshots and last but not least the textures themselves

Nice scene you have there. A couple things I might suggest though are a little more detail on the pillars and maybe a different texture on the ceiling. It looks a little weird having it the same as the walls. Maybe it could have wood planks.

I myself did the 2 outer buildings, the little smithy shack to the left, the skydome and the moon. I also put everything into udk and made the lighting and particle effects

Christoph, so much improvement here!

Your presentation skills have got much better, rendering on black background is never a good thing but you see, to have worked on that a lot.

Last couple of entries are pretty cool. The atmosphere of the lights on inside adds a lot to the scene, good job!
