I have been in love with the program since Dr.Peter first released it to the public, and now the latest version is out. Theres no time to explain, theres no time to do a review, just go!

AMAGAD!

I only ever tried it a little bit ages ago but I absolutely fucking loved how it added to the mesh whilst sculpting. Will try this out tomorrow!

(Also really hope that tech gets integrated into zBrush)

Yeh why would they do that? This is like getting someone slippers for jogging while he has been jogging for 2 years in sport shoes already.

Great little app, and perfect for sketching... But am I the only one who can't get a clean production quality sculpt out of it? Every time I subdivide, little pimples appear all over the mesh.

I don't SD in Sculptris, just select the brush, and under Detail, set the slider to the position you want and sculpt.

Detail slider will tell the brush you're using how many polies to add as you're sculpting per tap/click. Press W for Wireframe and play around with the Detail slider to get an idea on this.

Aha good point. Guess that's one habit I have to unlearn from the Zb/mud paradigm.

@Snowfly: Yeah, it's true, ZB and MB are different animals to Sculptris as Sculptris is to them. Also, I just tried the Subdividing the mesh, and it seems to create pimples as you said. So I'm guessing it simply the way Sculptris works on a uniform SD.

@LMP: Fezes are cool, har har...

I get the pimples its basically to many triangles within triangles. I dont worry about them they shouldnt show up when its exported. But if I want to get rid of them I just go over the area with the reduction brush.
