So they say. But you never know. This is a really skeezy practice that's been going on the last few years since the economy started drooping. Make a game, fire the art team. Pisses me off to no end. The larger the studio, the more money oriented it gets and with that the leadership cuts corners wherever it can.

I think that practice or pattern is just awful for innovation too. Like the lay off's at Relic and Vigil the people in charge of managing the money are cutting off ambitious projects and without ambition games will keep their current content limitations.
