I'm planning on making Ryu as a futuristic soldier. He's going to have two machine guns named Shoryuken and Hadoken.

Here's what I have so far. I'm trying to keep some elements from the original costume to the new concept. Color is not finalized, I'm thinking of light urban digicamo just to stay within the color range of his original white uniform. His gloves will also be red and the fingers will be covered. I'm planning on making a helmet with red deco on it to match the original's hachimaki. The shoes will have a split toe since the original Ryu was barefoot.

As for the two guns, I think it needs to be two really big guns so as to have the names "Shoryuken" and "Hadoken" visible as deco.

Any recommendations is very welcome.

I'll try to take mine a less of a futuristic direction in that case.

@Makkon: I wouldn't worry about it. I've only colorized my shaders that way as a temporary theme. I'm planning on a different color scheme for final. I don't really think our concepts will clash. Plus I'm really liking what you've got.

Here's pretty much how I want to theme Ryu. I decided to remove the helmet since it takes away from being able to recognize Ryu. I'm still going to make the headband futuristic, perhaps something that holds lenses like Garrus from Mass Effect.
