I am very excited about this comp! I chose the Egypt level from The King of Fighters 2000:



However, rather than doing an egyptian desert with people carved into the pyramids and such, I want to make it a level of "trapped souls." Think Freddy Kreuger's chest/Han Solo (or George Lucas :p) trapped in carbonite. It will be nasty, fleshy, and disgusting. Inspirational mood board below.

That is intense haha, good idea and sounds like a cool stage. I'll track this.

Testing layout and cliff-like modules. The cliffs are in no way final. Juts a quick sculpt and default texture to see if I like the direction this is going in.

Replaced rock modules. Added a temp skybox and changed lighting color. Still trying to figure out the exact direction to go with this.

Made the light a bit brighter since it was hard to see anything on some monitors. I also tiled the diffuse with an AO overlay for the rocks. I think I may be ready to move on to the next asset, probably the floor.

that's quite a small pyramid in the front there.
