I'll be making scorpion, parts of his body will be a hard shell like a scorpions carapice. I'm sorry for choosing a fighter that is done to death, but scorpion is awesome.

Nice silho. I like the idea of a "scorpion" scorpion...seems so obvious. Will be watching.

I remember this lame fatality in MK4 where he turns himself in an actual scorpion and rips off the upper body of the opponent... The aha-erlebnis of it all!

Anyway, neat idea for using scorpion-like plates as armor. Could be cool.
I would push the silhouette a bit more though, give the man some pincers!
Nice touch on the scorpion stinger on the end of the spear as well.

Cheers guys, I'll have some progress to show soon. Haha Maph, that fatality was a tad obvious. I preferred his skull breathing fire fatality. I hope to incorporate that under his mask.

Hey guys, update! Finally got my arse into gear and did some zbrushing-

I wasn't happy with his pants so I decided to lengthen them a tad and add some knee braces. Moved his torso a tad too-

jaw design is super cool- i feel he needs something to fully sell him as scorpion though.

Cheers mate. I totally agree. There are very distinct elements missing that make scorpion feel like scorpion. I'm yet to add his spear and I want to incorporate a mask somehow. I have an idea in my head.

Update time! Need to get my arse into gear. I've added a few new props, Tobi boots, extra armor and a very fashionable skull mask and am ever so slightly closer to sculpting the shit out of him-

I really like the whole carapace idea too. And I agree it could use a more scorpion feel to it. And I think if you pushed your idea further and just add more scorpion-like elements it'll help. The curved spikes on the shoulders was a good add. The mask is pretty cool too made a big difference on the face I thought.
