Hi guys,
I'm making a texture for the Game-Artist.Net speed texturing competition.
I choose Lord_Paragon's gun because it's the one I prefer.
I just want to know what do you think of it?

Cyberpunk is usually noted for high-tech and advanced science, among other things. I don't really see this weapon fitting in with that genre, the wood grips, wrapping, skull designs and aged nature of the material makes it look like something from Warhammer. It's closer to Steampunk.

There's not much differentiation between materials on the specular, its all kinda shiny, even the cloth.

It's nice but yeah it's not cyberpunk at all. Wood for example doesn't exist in that genre lol.
It's definitely closer to steampunk.
This is more what a cyberpunk weapon would look like if there were some spikes and spraypaint etc

Gud luck with it.

lol. it doesnt look cyberpunk, because its not. :P for that challenge, they said that cyberpunk or steampunk could be used.. but it was specified as the cyberpunk firearm challenge. Lord_Paragon decided to just go with a steampunk design.
