Not feeling the WWII/Japanese soldier/Yakuza thing.

Wondering whether I should morph him into a greaser or a really old martial arts master, as he does become the strongest human alive ever after Yu Yu Hakusho's finale.

No matter, I've decided on what I'm going to do. It's the only thing to do, really.

Maybe you could make him look like a real detective like Sherlock Holmes or something but put some demonic elements into it.

Oh and give him a mustache, I have a feeling Kuwabara would have an epic mustache or some sort of facial hair

Yeah. I'm going to turn him into an older version. Might have to give him more wrinkles, and an incredibly sophisticated, yet bad-ass Japanese look.

looking like a good start so far, but i keep getting the feeling that his face is being pinched into the center. also his eyes are quite large and imo his mouth is on the small side (this may be a stylistic approach, but it still looks a bit off)

Yeah? I might touch those eyes up. I was trying to reach a compromise between his anime rendition and a more realistic form, but I don't think that'll work out too great.

And for the mouth, do you still feel it is too small considering the reference? Kuwabara is a super loud mouth, but the drawing of his mouth when silent is pretty small.

The nose does need work. I sculpted it too large then pinched it down to form a crease on the edge of the nostrils/top of the philthrum. Need to work that out.

What do you think of the hair? : O

I'm not diggin the way the anatomy is fuzzy. Need a solution. On the other Hand, Kuwabara's a pretty bulky guy. Not the cut type.

Boop. Partial retop. I'm at 7000 tris without his weapons which he has 3 of.
Probably going to get to 11000 tris max with what I have planned.

Used the boots from the previous post simply as a shape for a base since I was in zbrush.

kuwabara is probably one of my all time favorites. ever. i should probably finish watching Yu-Yu Hakusho sometime.

Yeah. He's pretty damn badass. Despite being weaker than all of the the fighters on his side and almost all of the enemies he manages to stay alive thanks to willpower, honor, and sheer manliness. Gotta love this guy.
