*Make custom brushes for zbrush/photoshop
*Organize your project/texture/reference folders
*Practice sketching, sculpting

I've finished every comp I've entered but 2 (and I finished both entries eventually, just not in time for the comp deadlines). If I know I don't have the time, I don't enter. And I never even post my entry thread till I have a picture (that I've made) to show.

I don't have the kind of time to really hit a competition like i did in the past, but i'll be DAMNED if i don't get something submitted even if it's just for funs. There's just too many good times to be had.
I haven't been this excited about our game art community since the last time I posted this video at the start of the last unearthly:

TerriakyStyle is right! sharpen those pencils or change your wacom nibs! here's small sketch to pass on some inspiration this awesome thread has given me.
