embedding of videos in polycount threads

hi, i'm trying to post a vimeo vid in my sketchbook thread but i dont know if it is even possible. youtube vids can be shown as to see in the thread of hilariousness

my search in the forums didnt lead to any result, and the bb code page (which btw is pretty hidden) does not show special tags for this also not for the youtube vids..
so is there any possibility of embedding vimeo vids?

I dont think the forum supports vimeo embedding, just youtube. youtube vids are embeded by pasting a link to the youtube video in the reply, and it does everything auto-magically, so I'd assume that if you paste a link to the vimeo video & it doesnt embed, it isnt supported

yes, thank you. good to know. would be cool when vimeo also gets support.
i upped that vid now to youtube to embed it.

This doesn't work for me.

In a recent post I made I pasted the youtube link like you say, but as you can see in the post, all it is is a link, no embeded video.

Vimeo does actually work. You just use the [vv] tag for it and write the number of your video stated in the url.
