Hey guys im starting to light my scene. I have a single Dom Directional Light, aimed through window. All default settings, i dont understand the shadow from the window? Why is it show the outline of the window? There is a static mesh around the window to represent a frame but yet light seems to be coming through the walls? at odd angles? When i remove the static meshes it goes away but why it is casting them? I can set them to not cast shadows im more wanting to know why this does this

Try rebuilding the wall brush. Just drag it away in any direction, copy it holding alt and put it on the same place. Ofc you will need to do the same to the window substract brushes if you have those. After that rebuild all

Ye had the same problem with my environment. Have no clue what is exactly causing it. I've sat there for 2-3 days finding a solution on the web and didn't even think that the solution could be simple as that. Was sure it was some kind of lightmass setting tho. After giving up on the search I just have rebuild the area affected and it worked.
