Hey dudes,
been posting the updates on this in the WAYWO thread, but figured as its come a long way, id give it its own thread for some specific crits/tips that ill need to make it pop!

the plan is to do a game res bust of the ragetti character from pirates of the caribbean. my initial aim was 6000 tris and 2x1024 materials for the whole thing including the hair, but may just raise that to tighten up the edges of the clothes accomodate for low frequency details in the normalmap etc.

basemeshes done in 3dsmax, taken in to Zbrush4 for sculpting, lowpoly and uvs back inside max and baking using xNormal.

never too late for crits and changes so let me know ur honest crits

this is where it is at the moment.

Full bust shot

Closeup of head

Lowpoly mesh. 5200 triangles at the moment, Xoliuls shader inside Max2010:

i think next step will be to adjust my lowpoly to get rid of the harsh smoothing at the borders and recapture. possibly adjust the UVs for better pixel density...

Looks like a pretty decent likeness, to me. I think the nose isn't quite right at this point, both in length (although without a side view it's difficult to judge) and where it joins the forehead. He probably needs to be a little more gaunt too. You've certainly captured the slack jawed idiot appearance of the Pirates character.

Handy profile shot I came across in case you've not seen it.
