I'm receiving a 1 warning when exporting a model as an OBJ.

"1 texture-coords out of range in mesh"

I don't know if this has a direct effect on my normal map baking since it was getting the top portion cut off when rendering it out. Everything i packed within the area and hasn't been moved. No special material is put on the obj just a basic material from Max with a diffuse color change. Has anyone else come across this before?

It looks as though your UVs aren't in the 0-1 UV range, though I don't ever remember getting an OBJ export error for that...

Show us a screenshot of your UVs in Max.

you could have some dead tVerts in your UV. In the unwrap editor select all verts (ctrl + a) and check if the selection bounding box is out of the view range. I assuming that some vert has a crazy distant position like beyond reasonable because normally its just fine to have verts outside the 0-1 range.

Here is a shot of the UVs. Some piece are very close to the edge but don't extrude out.

but like I said if you select everything can you see the selection bounding box within the view or is it extending beyond that? Aka do you have some verts somewhere outside that view?

No it all within its designated area, nothing outside the bounding box.

Thanks for the feedback, I was able to get a teacher to help me out. He exported it out as a 3Ds file. Its working now!
