Hey guys
Was looking at "The Style" thread and came up with this list of 5 options to vote for:
- Victorian
- Biosphere
- Steam Punk
- 1960's The Prisoner
- Lovecraft 1920's
However I think these are more themes than actual styles but give me a kick if I am wrong?
Also if I have missed one out that you guys think should get a shout out please leave a comment below.
Thanks

yeah you should put them together. Victorian is a very different style from Dark Grimey Victorian, you should use the Posts from the thread as the summaries for the Poll.

we can pick a theme and them iron out the exact style with another poll...
I like the idea of a biosphere on a post-apocalyptic earth, that is low on CO2 and high in radiation.
Future-ize it a bit to make it a little less boring.

I'm also somewhat tired of steampunk - I'm with the Biosphere - so long as it's not too 'generic sci-fi'.
Edit: You could try an interesting twist on it - it's all too obvious to have a big industrial dome full of foliage. What about something where this is a bit flipped?
Consider global warming going too far in future, creating a fairly global tropical climate - where else to preserve remnants of an Antarctic environment save in a specialised biodome?

Are you guys really that tired of steampunk? I don't think I've ever seen a steampunk game. Bioshock may have been kind of steamy punk, but when I think of steampunk bioshock is not what comes to mind.

I'm definitely not tired about steampunk! Think it's great style and something original in games... Of course a mix of some "lovecraftish" fantasy stuff with steampunk could be really cool...
Very interesting.

There have been quite a few, some of them recent. The indie and mod space seems a little obsessed with SteamPunk at the moment (although still not as much as the 'realism' or 'zombie' fetishes.
