Let me be the first to say Holy Shit this is awesome. TMNT have never looked so cool. You should spend some more time on the piece of pizza. Would be rad to see some more ingredients on there. Like ANCHOVIES

He looks like he's wearing black lipstick. Other than that, awesome piece.
I hope you do go back to it and finish off the lower half of his body. As I was scrolling down the page it kept throwing me off that he ends at the waist.

These are quite good, even without legs! But they look like angry bull dykes with that black "lipstick", shrug it is a very interesting interpretation though. Would love to see a more vibrant range of color on the shells that you accomplished so well on the skin.

I agree with the other comments on here, but great sculpting and direction so far.
The cloth, especially on the bandannas, feels a little papery to me. Maybe the cloth is really thin and frayed more at the edges. This might work well with the rugged look you have going. Or, maybe it should be thicker and rounder at the edges and sturdier looking.
Great work though man, I love turtles!

Oh how I wish these were hidden unlockable characters in gears of war 3. Amazing work.

wise man say, forgiveness is divine but never pay full price for late pizza.
These are sick, however I think the waists taper inwards too much. makes it a little too obvious that the lower body and legs havent really been taken into account (i'm disappointed this wasnt made into a fullsize character ftr)
spec on the arms and vein colouration is awesome. Donnies' fabrics might be a bit oversaturated I think. Spec on the cheese on the pizza needs to be inverted a bit from the diffuse i think, its taking on a metallic look atm.
Grats on colouration around the face and mouth too, not overdone but still has a fleshy lively look to it
Everyone's doing such awesome ninja turtle redesigns, i wanna join in

first thanks all for the nice feedback.
I know its stupide i didn't make the whole character. Later after my other stuff is done i will create the legs and give every character his one touch, even more as it is right now. Will just take a bit time, hope not too much.

I think it would be better if you had them sticking out of a manhole, cause right now it seems weird that you created so many props for each character but didn't do the legs (yet). Plus it would be more relevant to the IP than just sticking it on a pedestal.

It looks a bit odd I agree, but when looking at photo's of actual turtles the beak does look a like.
Great work btw!

Mate these are ace, I noticed Donatello's crossed arms clip with his chest making it look unnatural, maybe worth a look. Good interpretation fella

awesome! these totally rock
My only comment is that i think the specular on the lips is a little heavy, and it gives the appearance of buck teeth on them. If not for this piece, in the future, tone the lips down some and make the highlight more even?

I started already with his legs and if i like my first concept, he will get his legs very soon. Will also fix the other stuff.

hey
I started on his lower part. playing around to get the right shape and how the details should look like.
Trying to get the same look as his arm.

Man they look very ugly in the face but if there were a such thing as a mutant turtle in the real world it would def look like that

Amazing work! I wish they made the movie with this style of characters. My only critique would be the lip color could be blended a little more with the flesh tone to lose the lipstick look that others have commented on. Fantastic work definitely following this thread.
