I thought I could get used to it, but the "new" floating box inside max is seriously starting to piss me off, it moves constantly. Any way to revert it back to the old 2009 style?

And I honestly have no idea what it's really called, I tried searching but came up empty.

And this is what I'm talking about:

It's called Caddie...you can turn off the moving around stuff with a script, but reverting to the old style is only possible if you replace the edit Poly part of Max with an old one (there's a thread about it somewhere in the Area)...but you'll loose the new edit Poly features tat way.

Not entirely true...

This method works like a charm. You basically need to grab those files from 3dsMax 2010 and replace the files with the ones from 2011. We've been using this for months here at HMS. The old caddies are back!

That's exactly the treat I mentioned...couldn't find it, though ;)

But as I said, you'll loose the new ePoly features introduced in 2011, for example Ring/Loop Selection for Polygons/Vertices.
