created Polycount Tshirts
on 09-24-2010 12:29 PM
I love spreadshirt.com. And I think it's cool Polycount has t-shirts. I just feel like there a little plain...Is there anyway way could get some more designs? Or submit designs? Or have a polycount t-shirt contest? ;)
I'm not trying to offend the guys who made them.
edit: wow definitely forgot the "not". Sorry about that

i always kind of thought the charm of the polycount logo(and shirts!) was the simplicity in the design. It's like bam, im repping polycount.

I don't think he's suggesting getting rid of the old shirts, but maybe offering some new designs, that include some of the community work (obviously with permission, or through a contest).

I like the ones there now, but a contest isn't a bad idea either.

The the people who won showcases would let pc use their stuff, that would be awesome.
I do like the current shirts, simple and blam, But I feel like there's a bunch of cool shirts out there that are more of a trick/inside joke. For example http://techart.spreadshirt.com/ ( the top row)
I think there are a lot of cool ideas, and I might even start drawing a few up. would love to see some other ideas as well.
As far as the first post, I'm feel really bad about it. Guess that's what I get for not reading my post after I typed it

For the record, NeoprofZ (or "Nick" as he's know to our 8 monkey/3ps and Exis friends) stole my polycount t-shirt back when r13 gave them out nearly 10 years ago.
It was from the first set of polycount t-shirt's ever made, and I have vowed vengeance.
You hear that Nick? I'm going to get you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem with that, is that most of the inside jokes here are centered around male genitalia.

Why is that a problem?

Would be sweet to do a shirt contest that has the PC logo as a major part of a cool design. Something with a little more to it than just the PC logo would be very cool.
Specs id think would be necessary would be to have the PC logo be of a certain percentage of the designs size and be the PC green.
Side note, is there a site that does shirt printing that is NOT the think crusty ink stuff?

The logo looks good.
The problem is that the t-shirts are short and wide at least the european M size...

I'm all for a PC baseball cap. The contest is a great idea as well, but I'm more for the baseball caps

@vcool
Could you be remembering the design that nrek did on my thread about women's sizes in the site store? If so, I concur, I NEED that shirt.

I definitely agree with Polycount's T-Shirt design contest idea. We can all get together smoke weed while one guy works on the design on the side table and give us the updates.
It is the way of the programmer.

I don't see why we needed another one.
