Hi,

My monitor recently blew up / broke and I need a new one, look to get dual (2x or 3x).

Any recommendations please.

I got 2x DellU2311H 23" a couple of days ago and they are really nice.
If you do a search you can find a couple of threads about diffrent type of monitors and what people recommend.

Yup I also recommend the Dell U2311H. I got one a few months ago, it was a great replacement for an aging 19 inch CRT.

Here's a thread about them.

If i'm honest guys those are slightly out of my budget, If I bought two of those that would be around 600 gbp shipped, they're alot more expensive in the UK.

I was thinking of buying 2x or 3x of these.
I can compromise quality as i am a student now and I'm eatin beanz :P

haha if money is tight, there is absolutley no reason to get 3 monitors. 2 monitors is just find for pretty much anything you would ever need to do, a 3rd would just be a complete waste of money.

I have a pair of LG at home and they are pretty decent, every job I have had has used dells which are my favorite but if money is tight something cheaper like LG or Samsung would probably be fine.

This one comes highly recommened from me. decent resolution, colour and clarity. also has hdmi which is very handy to hook other things up to it. It also looks very nice and has a unique power on / off touch tab thing :P

Going to order 2x of those with next day delivery.

I wish the border was a little slimmer to be honest, but beggers can't be choosers.

BTW - It didn't blow up , It just stopped turning on, blowing up sound more dramatic.
