Hey guys and gals,
Here's a bunch of stuff I've slowly been working on for the past month or so, I need to get to a place where I'm comfortable applying for art jobs in the games industry again so I hope you can help me out

Ref:
An old Sydney Harbour Bridge I did a while back for a L4D Campaign that never saw the light of day
A half finished bust of a mate of mine:
Into the normal mapping stage with another mate:
A sculpt I did a while back of a highbacked leather chair ... it was for a game-artist.net speed modeling challenge if I remember correctly.
A couple of sketches ... (you can probably tell what my inspiration is :P)
Aaaand last but not least a Fire elemental dude I've been working on just for s and g's ...
I appreciate any advice you can give ... go nuts

cool, but the bride ehhhh not to much on the bridge, because the two towers on the entrance and the exit are total crap, they look like you just made two boxes and put pictures on them but the tree fort, the chair, and the fire hydrant are awesome

Cheers man, I totally agree on the bridge. Not my best work. I was just trying to get something low poly as I sky box for a L4D map I was making and I definitively have to stop showing it to people :p
Anyway heres a bit of an update on some older stuff
Playing around with repeating geometry here ... alot of fun
And heres a sharper image of this rock cave and a little rework on the texture
And another speed paint

hey man, just though i'd share some things i noticed..
first of all there seems to be wear on the paint in areas that wouldn't normally get worn down ( the recesses and in sharp corners) instead try adding some grunge to add some depth, and maybe lighten up some of the outer edges.
