Wow these models look great! I can't wait to see what it looks like with textures! I don't have the time to build one this month for the contest, but I hope to try my hand at making a new sentry at some point also

Hello people, i worked over this sentry this week, i finished the mapping part of the level 1 - RED (yeah, i love RED) later i will finish the BLU version.

The texture on the body is a bit noisy on the right side, compared to the left which looks great. Could possibly do without the logo or the G-12. The overall shape is great, and should I say more adorable than the regular baby sentry.

I .... theres something about it that dosent seem to fit the engineer. it seems to Futuristic. also Spikes, can we see it without them?

hummm ok, the logo was in a weird place, here is the updated version without logo and with a more stylish G-12.

its cool, but i dont think the engineer would let it fall into such disrepair. i mean, rusty is okay, but the vent in the back makes it look likes hes ignored it.
can we see them a bit fixed up?

humm...ok, i took note. I will see if more people think the vent is too much broken. I have no problem with the vent, but if the majority here thinks fix the vent is a good idea, i do

i'm loving it.
When i first saw the first version of the lv 3 i was blown away though. i didnt like it so much, but i love your new level three. i think it would be cool it if were fully defensive, and shot grenades instead of rockets. those barrels just make me think grenades more.

But it looks amazing none-the-less.

I don't really have an issue with the vent. Gives it character.

Than again, might not hurt to fix it up a bit.

Dear god, I'm such an indecisive bastard.

Fix up the vent and post a side by side comparison of the beat up vent. Than we'll all be able to better judge.

Well..keep in mind that vent will be discarted in the upgrade to level 2. Think in that line of upgrade like the eng taking a half baked machine and upgrading it to the level max in better conditions etc.

wow, cant believe i havent seen this one. nice turret, love the concept! My only crit would be that you still have too much dirt overlayed and not enough large brush strokes.

great directions that thread give to me. I worked a bit more in the texture, put more brush strokes and less dirt. I cant wait to start the building animation >........<

How about making the Logo a weathered white paint. Would pop out more...

ahhaa i have a lot of ideas for my "machinery garden" but dont have time to work on it. I will have luck if i can conclude this sentry

What's with the curly logo? Looks really out of place. Anyway, the texture is getting there, but it's still too dirty. Take a look at the existing sentry texture.

I love this sentry design. I was really hoping someone was going to be bold/foolhardy enough to attempt a Sentry Gun remodel, and this utterly fails to disappoint me!

I don't envy you or Valve though, cuz I can only imagine that the construction and upgrades are going to be an enormous b!tch to animate. D:

This is the whole package. Each sentry level counts as a separate item towards the rules of the Polycount Pack Contest.
