I must say these are very impressive. Do you have an idea on what the statistics are going to be? Or how these are going to fit into TF2 combat?

You could texture on 'Ahab's Ace' in a calligraphic font, like he engraved his name. You could use one of these free fonts for inspiration/directly-

That gun will just break in the middle of the battle if you know what I mean.

I do not like the blackness of it, I think you should incorporate some gold, and some more ornate designs to areas like the telescope, and the back part with the mann co label.
We men's, we should be iron.

The texture needs a bit of work still IMO.

I dont like the arrow's color, you shouldnt use near black color for big parts like that. You should make it more like a silver color.

That bronze doesn't work at all. I think the gray coloring that you had before is better.

In my opinion the Bronze makes it more visually interesting.
Granted it might serve a little better darker, but I like it.

It might just be the screenshot, but the Heavy skulls look pretty blurry.

yeah I think I'm just doin a crap job on the texture alltogether anyway
I like the idea of the gold, and I've got some good ref but the execution just ain't working out. The weapons in the game are all very flat with few colours so right away it doesn't look right.
the area with the skulls is kinda small in the UV's, the whole sshape is almost a quarter of the map but that area is a little small. and Sparkwire's supposed to be animating it so I don't want to change the uv's either...

guess it's a good thing I gave myself a week to get this thing done right;)

I say don't use too many or too dark colours. The thing is already very big and pretty cluttered with detail.

If you want bronze, try a more subtle one, one that goes with the blue.

Also, I found this on a quick image search:

Maybe the Mann Co-labeled part could look something like that?

I like the bottom left, but I'd make the scope black if you do go that route.

I think I like the top two and the bottom right, cause they're still kinda simple.
Thanks Fort!

Tank: that's a pretty cool reference but similar to what I tried to use, I just failed...
Brunaai: more ivory is a yes, I named it the White Wailer, then textured it blue????

will start over when I get home, thanks guys

I like the gold/brass fittings. Have the rest be mainly gun metal/steel/iron with a small ivory area and it should be fine.
