I'm desperately trying to put together a game design portfolio. I've been looking for freelance work for this but only end up getting jobs geared more towards CG; which I like but I need to show work in-game development requiring good textures.

If you have a mod that you are working on and need good work for free, then I'm offer my services. You have to keep your requests within reason, one asset/character at a time. What do you get? Great work! What do I get? a polished portfolio piece!

I'm especially excited to do anything based in Unreal III. I have skills with ZBrush and I'm not afraid to use it.

Keep in mind this does not exclude any gaming companies in need of extra help.

Because if you are, I'd be glad to abuse your time. I'm currently working with a crew to make a surrealist-horror project using udk. We'd have both 2d and 3d work available.

Yozora: I do have a portfolio But I'd Like to not share it just yet. Maybe in the next few days. The whole point of this post is to establish a protfolio for game development. Currently my Portfolio only shows my CG type/ Medical Animation. I don't want to risk getting type cast-ted. I'm wanting to simply build my diversity.

OOOOOOOOOOH!!!! I just saw a great post that everyone should check out. Especially if you are considering working with anyone international that can't give references and ends up asking for Artwork. Protect your games when at all possible.I assure you all this post isn't meant for anything like that.

While I do work in education, I don't work at LCAD; would be a bloody brilliant job if I could land it, though.

Thanks to everyone who's been giving me work! I've been getting a great number of responses from this posting and I am now neck deep in work!! Having said that, I need to put any new requests on hold until I can finish what has been given to me. For anyone I have already talked who needs my help, I assure you its coming.
