woah gauss that's awesome! what program are you painting in? some areas look like you just printed it out, hand painted it, then scanned it ;). i love the colors of the face and shoulderpad.

Japhir: I'll usually do basic comps/a few manipulations in PS, but I do most of my work in Painter IX these days, which accounts for the brush marks and grain. Then I bring stuff back into PS to size down and unsharp etc.

There's a great classic anime feel to that one, Ninjas.
