While editing some new footage for my reel, I saved and closed my Premiere project and can no longer open my 2 recent save files. This has unfortunately happened twice.

When I try to open the project, the loading bar gets to around 90% and then becomes unresponsive.

Possible reasons for the problem:
-Deleted preview files.
-Updated some footage files.
-Changed the names of some footage files.

Current attempts at solving the problem:
-Creating a short cut of the Adobe Premiere Pro exe, moving it to the dynamiclink folder and renaming it Premiere.
-Moving everything to a new computer.
-Renaming the project folders and footage folders.
-Reinstalling CS4.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

Thanks BardurM, unfortunately that's when I get the dynamiclink error. Or it will lock up at 98% of importing the file to the new project.

I went into my Auto-Save folder and successfully opened an Auto-Save project. But when saved, and re-opened, it locks up. So I tried this again, but deleted 2 of the most recent footage files I edited, saved, and it re-opened fine.

I'm still not sure why those files would cause the whole project to be corrupt.
