I just discovered Sparks! They're an American band but it seems they were more popular in the UK than over here.
I haven't had the chance to look at all the youtube videos but I really like that Peter Bjorn and John vid Sub_Roland posted as well as Electric Eal Shock that Rick shared with us.

Watched 'Public enemies' again a couple days back, love this song in it:
While on the subject, what the hell was up with that film? It kept changing the camera style.. Every other scene looked like something from a camcorder.
