Inspired by Askhat I decided to open a sketchbook in here and do some movies frame studies hoping I'll improve my painting in general since I'm a little bit rusty right now.
Not much to say right now apart from the fact that I hope I'll be able to do 2 studies a day and see how it goes...

PS: MAV SEZ HAI TO #MD GAIS (and tins) !!!

@ZacD: thx!
@Conte: yep, second one is from Revolver (awesome underappreciated movie imo) and first one is from 3:10 to Yuma.

Here is another one from 3:10 to Yuma, I kinda gave up on the background :P guess I really gotta do more environnement studies.
Cya!

@Ferg: thx! they're actually fun once you get past the frustrating fact that the finished study is far from looking like its source :P

here's today's study, I hate environnements...

really cool!
Don't know if it's a bad thing if it doesn't really like exactly like it's source, as long as it looks good =)

@Peris: thx dude, you do some killer stuff yourself!

Here's a 3d model I roughed up, forgot almost everything about basic polymodeling, picking stuff back as I go hoping I'll get to texturing...someday :P

Yeah last piece reminds me of the modeled Zbrush armor someone made, the texture was dark red and the armor set was all one piece with those channels between plates of armor.
