Konichiwa!
Top left and top right are the strongest. They also have a good feeling of depth, I think that's why I like them. I think it's great you did a bunch, that's a great way to improve quickly. Keep it up.

tokidokizenzen:
Appreciate the feedback toki. I definitely want to achieve convincing depth with my work, so i'll be steering away from the looser, abstract stuff pretty soon here.
bounchfx:
Hey man, thanks for dropping your 2 cents here dude :P You know I'll be posting more!
I've tried experimenting with some different brushes with this latest offering. Admittedly, some of them are kinda half ass. For these last two sheets, I'm looking for crits on composition, but feel free to drop some advice on other areas. I'll be focusing on more explicit perspective studies and do away with the abstract with my next sheet.

That middle left one has an awesome feel to it. I quite like the middle one as well, and the top right, although that one could use something else to make it a little less empty. Good thumbnails, keep it up!

Uneditablepoly:

Just a quick update. I'll be filling in the blank spots later today.

The middle one of the batch before this one is quite striking, and I also like the heavy weighting of the top right one. The newest set doesn't seem to be making good use of atmospheric perspective (distance fog), and I would say that you should avoid having so many objects/edges stopping just short of the borders of the canvas. Try to have more things go off the canvas entirely or stop closer to the middle thirds of the canvas. Read up on thirds here

ZackF:
I'm familar with the rule of thirds, but apparently, I wasn't paying it much mind when I did those last few. I'll be paying more attention to that in the future Thanks!

There's definately some cool stuff here, I really like the composition studies. Which is saying something because that's usually not at all the type of stuff I'm into, but you've approached it quite a bit differently than other people. I didn't get some of the abstractyness of it at first, but now I see what you were going for and think you pull it off really well.
I'd like to see some more fleshed out pieces, though. Keep it up.

Twolisten:
Thanks for looking man. To be honest, I'm not sure what I was doing with those comp studies, besides trying to learn composition :P All the same, glad you saw something interesting there. I'd like to do something more finished too, maybe soon.

Solid stuff, Saya.
You can already see the progression you've made since you've started doing these.

Quick "cheating" shit ill do at times to help me both get the right colour and blend - If i know/feel like my colour isnt red enough or w/e Ill grab a more saturated red and use a softbrush then eyedrop an inbetween part and carry on painting with that!
Also, squinting to get colour accuracy is helpful as it helps you single out areas rather than you eye getting confused by noise and all the other shit going on.
Gettin better yo~
