For people like me, who think the default tf2 look is a bit too soft shaded..
(and for people who want some variety)

any bugs? pls tell me

EDIT: the spawn version looks bit strange as a still but in motion it creates an interesting illustrative look!

Nice work rollin! I really like the look of the Airbrush and Hard light. Next time I get a chance I will have to give this a try.

Don't you find that "Hard Light" version makes the characters look shiny rather than just toon shaded when moving? When source got the TF2 update I spent ages mucking about with the lightwarps. Loads of potential from just a simple ramp texture.

somehow a toon-shading always looks a bit unnatural bc its not ment to be used in a 3d environment.. but personally I don't recognise the hard light version as shiny .. imo it's in fact difficult to create a shiny material.. the specular is important in this case

the metal baseball bat works quite well bc of the fake reflection..
maybe it's that .. reflection and spec -> shiny
and the shading creates the different toon/illustrative-effect..

but thats just my opinion
