Just finished Signing my contract to work at Electronic Arts Burnaby as a QA tester through VMC. Its a contract position but i hope to make the most of it.
Although its not an art position it'll help me dip my toes in the industry and learn how production works in a huge company like EA

If anyone works at EA Burnaby and wants to grab some drinks sometime i would love to meet up!

sooo excited!

Starting in QA is too often overlooked in its value. It's helped me immensely to communicate with other teams about problems etc.

Just stay positive and do your best at your current job. I did QA for a little over a year before I finally got into the art side of things so hang in there!

Cool man, just be careful to not be too pushy. One of my friends got fired from his QA job because he was spending too much time with the dev team. I know it's retarded but if they get the sense that your only there to get another job in the studio it can spell bad news.

Anways congrats, could be the start of big things

a side note btw. I was looking at your site (nice work on there!), and it was loading really slowly. It's because you must save all your jpegs at no compression or something. Use the save for web function. You really can't notice much of a difference, and your site will load 10x faster.
