Hello everyone!
This is my first serious post on Polycount, and my first real attempt at sub-d modelling. The model is a digital turntable, I thought it had alot of interesting shapes that would make for good practice. It is not finished, I still have alot to do.

I'm really interested in getting feedback and criticism from the community. Wasted edges, or places that need more supporting loops, or just advice in general. If I should include other angles, or something else, please let me know.

Thanks! Hope you like it. Here it is!

The only crit I can give is that most of the cylindrical buttons seem to be too recessed in your model compared to the real life counterpart.

theres a tiny error on the left side of the circular button 3rd up on the right. also i agree with turbosmooth, some of the buttons can be pulled up a bit.

cant wait to see this one done!

Thanks for the compliments and crits so far! I will definitely change those buttons, and good eye on that smoothing error!

That is a photo of the actual thing. It is my reference.

I'm pretty sure I put "Reference:" above the photo, and "Model" above my renders, not to mention the thread title says "WIP". The fail wasn't on my end...

the 'square' buttons' corners' are too round compared to the ref, and the switcher (thing on the bottom rightish of the ref) looks like 1. the gap around it is too big and 2. there's not really any room for it to 'switch' to the right. look at the ref carefully

also, the buttons on top middle of the turntable look like they come OUT a little from the top, not flush..

anyway, looks great!
