here are a few.

I would also suggest that you just browse through the free texturing tutorials at 3dtotal, there are a ton of good ones there and it could potentially save you some cash.

I recommend the Eat3D one also, great information for a beginner and it teaches good habits for workflow as well.

I'll add my recommendation for Eat3D. You're well on your way if you learn from them. They are relevant to current pipelines and well done.

Yeah bro, the eat3d is good. But it's the damaged pillar one that goes over unwrapping in max, I don't remember the texturing dvd going over unwrapping, I could be wrong though.

Along with eat3d's old damage pillar and this free vid here...

You'll be on your way, the free vid at game-artist.com is great check it out man!

That 2 for 1 vid deal is too good to pass up... hopefully I get some nice little bits of information from these, as everyone seems to like them a lot.

I ran into the "mudbox head sculpting" on eat3d, then I followed the link to the youtube vids. Riki do you know how long I've been searching for a sculpting/anatomy vid like this?!?!? You guys need to make a full body sculpting/anatomy vid, with "Artistic anatomy theory" cuz that is the one thing every single character sculpting dvd out there doesn't have. Man, I'd be the first one on a pre-order list.

Hi Autospy,

You are in luck because Rod is working on exactly what you describe. It may not come out for a couple months because of his schedule but hes already mostly done with it.

Check out what he does in the video.

Im working on something that will be my best yet. I promise to post some images very soon, like a week. It will be like the pillar but much more ambitious and split into 3 dvd. The high res dvd comes out first and will be epic!

Yeah but you dont understand. Each video will be completely self sufficient and crazy in depth.

For example, the raw capture of this first DVD is over 20 hours..Im editing like crazy now and its taking some time. Removing alot of mistakes and stuff like that.

So its not like Im cutting corners to make a buck. Dont forget that its my goal to demonstrate sculpting everything twice, once in mudbox 2009 and once in zbrush 3.1.

Man that is a beautiful sculpt! Hopefully it comes out sooner than later.

I have a question about your set. Is it zbush + 2 dvds. Mudbox + 2 dvds or zbrush + Mudbox + 1 dvd? Or is it 1 sculpting dvd with both software + 2 dvds?

Lol, sorry I'm just confused as to how this is going to work. Whatever route you take, it's ganna be sick, I know it!

Wow good timing for me, I was just thinking of picking up some tutorials to help me learn. I just might have to grab this when I get some dough.

Also can anyone recommend some DVDs on creating characters? (sorry for the semi-thread hijack) I was thinking of picking this one up....

For sculpting I recommend any of Zack Petroc's DVDs, but specifically this one for Male anatomy - http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/sto...-Human-Anatomy
